Purpose & Scientific Principle
The exhibits set up different types of wind power generation devices for the audience to assemble, guiding the audience to explore the differences in the appearance and structure of different power generation devices. The rotation of the power generation device charges the energy column, allowing the audience to intuitively understand the power generation of different power generation devices under different wind conditions. Through comparison, the audience is guided to think about the factors that affect wind power generation.
How to Operate
Convert the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical energy, and then convert the mechanical energy into electrical energy. This is wind power generation. The equipment required for wind power generation is called a wind turbine. This kind of wind turbine can be roughly divided into three parts: wind wheel (including tail rudder), generator and iron tower.
Factors that affect wind power generation: Wind speed: The greater the wind speed, the greater the energy obtained by the wind turbine; Wind turbine height: Wind turbines require stable wind power to generate electricity. Generally speaking, the wind speed at high places is more stable than at low places, so taller wind turbines are easier to obtain more stable wind power; Blade size: Under the same circumstances, larger blades can obtain greater wind power.
The exhibits are designed to demonstrate the impact of different windmill types and wind speeds on wind energy production. Multiple wind power generation devices with different shapes are set up on the platform for the audience to choose and assemble. At the same time, the touch screen on the table is used to select the level of wind power. After the blower device is started, it drives the windmill blades of the power generation device to rotate and generate electricity. The energy column in the middle of the platform is lit, and the audience can directly observe the value of the power generated. The process of wind power generation is demonstrated in the form of model assembly and electromechanical interactive demonstration.
