Purpose & Scientific Principle
Through electromechanical multimedia interactive display of all aspects of sewage treatment, let the public understand the methods and main technologies of sewage treatment.
How to Operate
Shows that modern wastewater treatment methods are mainly divided into three categories, namely physical treatment, chemical treatment and biological treatment. Sewage treatment can be divided into primary, secondary and tertiary treatment according to the degree of treatment.
Primary treatment is a physical treatment that mainly removes suspended solid pollutants in sewage. Most physical treatment methods can only meet the requirements of primary treatment. BOD can generally be removed by about 30% of sewage that has undergone primary treatment. Primary processing is a preprocessing of secondary processing.
Secondary treatment mainly removes colloid and dissolved substances in sewage, including organic pollutants (BOD, COD substances), so that organic pollutants can meet discharge standards.
Tertiary treatment, further processing of difficult to degrade. Including organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus and other soluble inorganic matter that can cause eutrophication of water bodies.
The main methods include biological denitrification and phosphorus removal, coagulation sedimentation, sand filtration, activated carbon adsorption, ion exchange and electroosmosis analysis.
The exhibits are designed to showcase sewage treatment. They adopt a flat display design and cooperate with video display to allow the audience to understand all aspects of sewage treatment.
