Purpose & Scientific Principle
Through the setting up of interactive equipment such as multimedia scanning stations, this exhibit allows the audience to recognize and understand Anhui’s rich mineral resources, further understand Anhui’s pillar industry-mining economy, and have an understanding of the distribution of Anhui’s mineral resources and future industrial development prospects.
How to Operate
Anhui Province is rich in mineral resources and has many types of minerals. By the end of 2015, 158 types of minerals had been discovered, and 1,437 solid mineral deposits with resource reserves had been identified, including 37% of large and medium-sized mineral deposits, and 1,125 mineral deposits had been developed, accounting for 78.3% of the total. Among them, the proven reserves of coal, iron, copper, pyrite and limestone for cement are the majority, and they are the dominant minerals in Anhui Province.
The exhibits consist of a booth, ore samples, and a multimedia scanning platform. The audience rotates the table mechanism and transfers the ore samples to the bottom of the scanning table, triggering the media to introduce various Anhui mineral resources. There is a map of Anhui in the middle of the table. When a certain piece of ore is scanned, the corresponding resource area on the map lights up. Through interactive operation experience, Anhui's rich mineral resources are fully demonstrated and detailed information of key resources is intuitively displayed.
